Für Sara Petrovic - Eigentümerin
Courtens Rasputin

For Sara Petrovic - Owner
Courtens Rasputin
Rasputin was born on August 5, 2022, in Peissenberg at breeder A. Countess of Courten’s Bruggerhof and is HWSD N / N.
The breeder brought him to us in June 2023. Currently, Rasputin stands at 1.39 meters (approximately 13.3 hh).
His sire, A-Kiya's Alohomora Key to Success, is a descendant of Rialto Gilian Segurets, from whom many successful sport ponies originate. I personally have sold two gelded sons of this line, both very pleasant ponies, and my clients are still very satisfied with them. His sire’s sire, A-Kixas's ... – stallion, is now licensed both nationally and internationally and resides in Ireland.
Rasputin is a Smoky Black Roan, an extremely rare coat color, even within the Connemara breed. He has been well lunged, correctly backed for his age, very human-oriented, highly trainable, and sensitive. His final height will be a maximum of 1.42 meters (about 14.1 hh), plus or minus 1 cm, and will definitely stay pony-sized, ensuring a promising sporting career with the right rider.
Rasputin was gelded in spring 2025. Due to my health situation, I sold several Connemara ponies to Sara Petrovic, including Rasputin. He moved to Slovenia in September 2025. By June 2026, he was well ridden, used in the arena and on trails, and returned calmly for sale. Owner: Sara Petrovic.
Rasputin has grown up with us in a loose box, open stall, and herd environment. Now it’s time for him to move to his new home. He has no bad habits or faults.
The only issue Rasputin has is that he does not feel comfortable in large herds or big open stalls. This discomfort stems from having been separated from his mother for a long time and lacking age-appropriate playmates.
Rasputin is fully vaccinated against EHV-1, 4, tetanus, and equine influenza, regularly dewormed, and has been trimmed regularly. He also enjoys trailer loading.
In Slovenia, he has already participated in a beginner-level E-Dressage competition, with a video available—though, due to bad weather, the quality is not top-notch. He also jumps well free and has cleared a few small cavaletti during groundwork.
Please note that Connemara ponies only fully mature at around 7-8 years of age, so age-appropriate riding is key to long-lasting enjoyment of the pony! Well-cared-for Connemaras are very durable, and reaching 30 years of age is not uncommon within the breed.
Rasputin is looking for a lovely home with plenty of ground work and time, as he now loves being spoiled. It’s worth mentioning that Rasputin is age-appropriately road and traffic safe and will stop calmly at the roadside like a pro.

Per Sara Petrovic - Proprietaria
Courtens Rasputin
È ben lavorato al longe, montato in modo appropriato all’età, molto socievole, molto intelligente e sensibile.

Momenteel is Rasputin 1,39 m hoog.
Eigentümerin is Sara Petrovic.
