Levi ⭐️FINISHED YOUTH RODEO PONY⭐️
Levi is the ultimate finished youth rodeo pony across barrels, poles, goats, and breakaway.
Levi has been ridden by an 11-year-old all-around cowgirl for the past 2 years. Throughout those years, he has carried her to win over 14 buckles, tack sets, an all-around saddle, and taken her to the pay window nearly every time. At jackpots, Levi is a consistent youth 1/2D and open 3/4D in barrels. He absolutely thrives off of the rodeo setting. He loves running in outdoor pens under night lights with chaotic rough stock in the chutes. He takes little to no warm-up, just jump on and go. He is consistent across all types of pens and dirt. He is the one you’ll want to run after a rainy day; he is surefooted and absolutely loves running in the mud. He is the type of pony that wants to take care of your kiddo and keep them safe through all types of terrain.
Levi is a consistent pole pony as well, usually running in the low-mid 20s, putting him right in the top of the salty youth pack at CYRA’s.
The little girl has competed on him all across Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and more. He has competed in everything from the Christian Youth Rodeo Association, where together they were the 2026 CYRA Jr. Girls All-Around Champions, American Royal Rodeo in Kansas City, Red Dirt Barrel Bash, local jackpots, regional rodeos, and nationwide association events.
Levi is super good to haul. He loads and unloads easily in all trailers, from stock, slants, and straight loads. He adjusts anywhere in every environment. He stalls very well and is great in portable panel pens or single-strand hot wire. He eats and drinks very well on the road and doesn’t require any special treatment on road trips, long or short. Large crowds, stadiums, big groups of horses, loud speakers, livestock, ropes, traffic, nothing of the sort bothers him at all. He doesn’t have any alley problems or issues; he will walk in quietly and manageably. After his run, he stops great and will walk out of the arena/alley quietly and one-handed.
Levi has been used for CYRA Rodeo Princess horsemanship classes, grand entry, and carrying the American flag during the National Anthem.
Levi is also a good head, heel, breakaway and ranch rodeo pony. He is the one everyone around town calls to use as their backup at everything from ranch rodeos, heading, heeling, or breakaway at your local jackpots or a rodeo. Levi can get antsy in the box after a few runs but it is nothing dangerous or uncontrollable so it is good to score a couple on him here and there. That being said he will absolutely take care of beginners while tracking and roping the dummy.
Levi is great out on the trails, too. He doesn’t shy away from anything from rivers, creeks, bridges, steep hills, and open fields. He will happily lead the pack or hang out in the back with no problem.
Don’t let his age fool you; he has plenty of heart and try left in him to carry a kid to her next step in the rodeo world for years to come. Levi is a super easy keeper. He stays fat on pasture alone, isn’t a picky eater, and will eat alfalfa or grass hay and any grain. He doesn’t require any type of special diet at home or on the road.
He is wonderful to be handled by little kids for baths, saddling, bridling, fly spray, feet picking, and everything in between. He isn’t herd-, buddy-, or barn-sour. He gets along with everyone, from mares, geldings, and other ponies to cattle. He respects all types of fencing, from smooth strand and hot wire to barbed wire.
Levi is 100% sound and does NOT require any maintenance. He just had his teeth one on 1/22/26 and was shod on 8/3/26 and we keep him on a 7 weeks shoeing schedule. We keep shoes on him due to being in such a rocky environment and traveling. No special shoes, injections, or medications are required. He is sound, sane, healthy, and ready to continue his career with a new girl to love him.
Everyone loves him. The parents love knowing they have a safe and reliable partner for their kid to hop on and go ride. The kids love having a pony to keep them safe, help them be independent, take them to the pay window, and do anything they ask of him.
This pony is a fantastic teacher and a great step-up for young kids; however, he is not a babysitter for beginners. He is fast and knows his job extremely well. He would be best suited for a kid ready to be competitive and go win.
