Who We Are:
We breed horses and Cattle on an organic family farm in the Irish Midlands, 90 km west of Dublin
And are looking for a skilled and reliable person to join our team
Job Type: Full- time
37 hours a week, weekend work may be available. Work hours: flexible
Beautiful house and adequate salary offered
Duties Include:
- Assist with maintaining and cleaning stables, yard and grounds
- Feeding horses, cattle, dogs and poultry
- Mucking and turning out horses
- Lunging horses
- Stud duties: handling stallions, mares and foals
- Driving horses to stud and competitions
- Lawn mowing and gardening (experience not required)
- Mending fences
Ideal Candidate:
Essential:
- English language skills
- Good communication and team work skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Able to keep an overview, spot problems and suggest solutions
- Self- motivated and able to work independently
- Driving licence and 5years plus driving practise
- Trailer licence
- Punctual and reliable
- Extensive experience of working with horses
- Knowledge of cattle
- Chainsaw experience
