High Beam is not your average pony; she is an absolute showstopper! She has a look that steals your focus and demands your attention. She stands 13.1h and has a chunky build, making her the perfect size to be ridden by children and most adults! She is gentle enough for any child who is familiar with horses, and large enough that they will not outgrow her. High Beam has one of the nicest sliding stops you will see out of any pony; she has all of the talent needed to go to the show pen and could be competitive in several events. She lopes even circles, picks up her leads on cue, has a nice flying lead change, and quietly crosses trail obstacles. I cannot put enough emphasis on how much raw, natural talent this pony has. She has a phenomenal disposition, making her just as pretty on the inside as she is on the outside!

High Beam is user friendly, and versatile. She gets along well with intermediate to advanced children, and beginner to advanced adults. In the arena, she has been ridden at indoor and outdoor facilities in all types of footing where she was able to show off just how agile she is. She has ridden down trails in big timber where she crossed logs and water without hesitation and was exposed to all types of wildlife. She rides confidently through open fields where she has been used to gather cattle and rope a few calves. You can expect the same ride whether she is alone or in a group. She has ridden quietly through some of the roughest terrain you will find in the Midwest, along rocky bluffs that drop off 150 feet over a river. She has even ridden down the main street of a small town while vehicles and pedestrians passed by. High Beam is ready to be the all-around family horse or continue in training and prove just how competitive she could be in the arena. She learns new things quickly and willingly, has a good mind, and has been a pleasure to train.
High Beam is the type of pony that everyone wants, but few can find. Her potential is exponentially endless; with her foundation, she can truly go any direction. Whether you want to carry our nation's flag at the local rodeo, compete in a trail class at the show, or would like her to pack your child on a weekend trail ride... She will do it ALL! She will be an excellent addition to anyone's program or family! She is respectful and easy to shoe, picking up all 4 feet without hesitation. She gets along well with pasture mates when turned out and is also comfortable when stalled. She easily loads into the trailer and hauls well. She stands wonderfully while tied and does not get impatient. High Beam is easy to catch wherever you find her, whether she is stalled or turned out. She has been around other livestock, small pets, wildlife, and even poultry. She is an easy keeper, and above all, easy going! She stands quietly to be bathed, groomed, clipped, braided, saddled, and bridled. Even with time off, while being kept in a box stall, you can expect her to ride off without issue. She is consistent, reliable, and safe. The only thing marish about her is how much heart and try she has, this mare truly aims to please.
