Chip is one of the best ponies we have ever had the pleasure of owning. He is the safest, gentlest, do-anything, quiet, well-behaved, and friendly pony you could ask for. He is a confidence-building, turn-your-kids-loose-and-he-will-babysit-them-all-day type.
Chip has been exposed to everything and anything we can think of. He is solid and will do absolutely anything your little one asks of him. He has seen tarps, obstacles, ropes, dummies, logs, balls, etc. He has seen side-by-sides, dogs, cats, goats, kids, traffic, and takes it all like a seasoned veteran.
Chip has been ridden out on the ranch and down the trails. He is absolutely safe enough to turn your kids loose on, and he will take care of them. He will lead or follow or go all by himself. He is not sour in any way, shape, or form.
Chip will go as slow or as fast as he is asked to. He is perfectly happy just walking all day but can trot and lope circles just like the big horses. He is extremely easy to make go and stop, turn, etc. We have used him to gather the cows. He will let you do anything on and off of him.
Chip is broke to drive a cart and is safe enough for anyone to harness, hitch, and drive. He can be driven down the roads safely and easily.
Chip is the same pony every time you catch him. He is easy to catch and is safe enough for kids to crawl all around, brush, wash, saddle, and ride all by themselves. I cannot say enough good things about him and how gentle, safe, and well-rounded he is. He is sound and UTD.
