SIRE
The sire of this colt is Vialli de Kalvarie, one of the most exciting young stallions in Belgian breeding. From an early age, Vialli de Kalvarie attracted the attention of breeders thanks to his exceptional quality, modern sport horse type, and outstanding pedigree.
He combines the genetics of Comme Il Faut, Kassander van’t Roosakker, and Pegase van’t Ruytershof—stallions whose influence continues to grow within European showjumping breeding. He belongs to a new generation of young sires from whom the breeding community expects a significant impact on future sport horse populations.

DAM
The dam of Valle Di Lacrime MZ Z is a daughter of the legendary Quasimodo van de Molendreef, a stallion who produced numerous Grand Prix horses and remained for many years among the most respected sires in Belgian breeding.
In the next generation, we find Caretano Z, winner of the World Cup Final and one of the most distinguished sons of Caretino. The combination of Quasimodo van de Molendreef and Caretano Z has long been regarded as an exceptionally valuable sport horse cross.

DAMLINE
The greatest strength of Valle Di Lacrime MZ Z’s pedigree is his outstanding maternal family, descending from the famous mare Carte Blanche Z. This family has produced horses that have played a significant role in both international sport and breeding for many years.
Particular attention must be given to Hardrock Z, one of the most distinguished representatives of this family. Under Emanuel Andrade, he competed successfully at the Grand Prix 1.60 m level and ranked among the world’s leading showjumping horses. Following his sport career, he also established himself as a respected breeding stallion, and his offspring now appear in the pedigrees of many promising sport horses.
Another outstanding representative of this family is Charlemagne JT Z. This accomplished stallion reached the 1.60 m level and further confirmed the exceptional sporting quality of the maternal line. His achievements provide additional evidence of the family’s remarkable ability to produce top-class sport horses.
Within the closest generations of the pedigree, we also find numerous horses competing at the 1.40–1.60 m level, making this one of the most consistently successful maternal families within the Zangersheide breeding program.
