Montico is a 9-year-old German sport horse looking for a new home with plenty of carrots and love 😊 Pedigree: Mont Blanc × Lohberg (Monte Bellini – Askari – Contender – Ramiro) Please note: No dealers! With a heavy heart, I have decided to find a new home for Montico. Due to my professional development, my available time will change, and I don’t want him to ever be shortchanged. Therefore, I am looking for someone who can give him the time, variety, and attention he deserves. 💙 Character Montico is an absolutely sweet, people-oriented, and honest gelding. He is straightforward, affectionate, and a real treasure in daily handling. He is: * Compatible with other horses * Regularly seen by the farrier, dentist, and osteopath * Familiar with paddock boxes with haylage * Used to summer turnout and overnight stabling * Or summer turnout without pasture, on a full-day paddock with proper care Purely stabled housing is not an option for me. 🐎 Training Montico is trained in dressage and masters all three basic gaits as well as the extended trot. Due to his size and long frame, I am looking for an experienced rider who can continue to develop him meaningfully. I have the impression that he particularly thrives on varied training routines. Trail riding, ground work, and small jumps clearly bring him joy. Although I haven’t jumped him extensively, the few jumps we did, he completed confidently and calmly. I have a feeling that he might enjoy jumping more than dressage 😊 He can go alone into the terrain with a confident rider, and naturally, he is also suitable for group rides. ❤️ Health Montico has a congenital heart defect (perimembranous ventricular septal defect). This was thoroughly examined by a specialized equine cardiologist. According to the specialist: * Normal heart function * Good life expectancy * Suitable for leisure and sport riding * Only high-intensity competitive sports are not recommended The complete cardiological report from 2021 (when I purchased Montico) is available and can be viewed. Montico has no issues with me – he is fully capable of work and requires no medication or similar. 🚛 Loading Since Montico has rarely traveled with a trailer, he lacks some routine in this area. With patience, this can surely be improved. During the trips we made, he was always well-behaved. Accessories A new, custom-fitted Kentaur Ithaka ISB dressage saddle (approx. €2,050 new) can be purchased additionally at extra cost. ℹ️ Other information * Trial riding available for a fee (which will be deducted from the purchase price), to prevent riding tourism. * A new pre-purchase examination can be performed at the buyer’s expense at any time. I have the documents from the 2021 examination and they are available for review. 🏡 What I wish for For me, the right home is more important than the purchase price. I am looking for someone who sees Montico as a partner, enjoys a versatile horse, and can offer him a loving, long-term home. I could also see Montico as a companion horse. Price: Negotiable Inquiries gladly via WhatsApp in writing!
Prijs: Vraagprijs (onderhandelbaar) Informatie graag schriftelijk via WhatsApp!
Montico to 9-letni niemiecki koń sportowy, który szuka nowego domu z wieloma 🥕 😊 Rodowód: Mont Blanc × Lohberg (Monte Bellini – Askari – Contender – Ramiro) Uwaga: Bez pośredników! 💙 Charakter Montico to absolutnie przyjazny, kontaktowy i szczery wałach.
