Balu is an absolutely lovable and kind-hearted gelding, who impresses primarily with his calm and balanced nature. Whether in the arena, on the riding ground, or out on the trail – Balu always provides a confident and secure riding experience. In dressage, he is reliably trained up to elementary level and can be comfortably ridden by less experienced riders as well. In show jumping, he competed successfully up to M level in 2023 before being withdrawn from jumping competitions due to reliability issues. With patience and time to build his trust, it is realistic to believe he can regain his enthusiasm for jumping. During his initial vaulting trials, Balu demonstrated a very composed and balanced demeanor, indicating that with further training, he will undoubtedly become a dependable partner in vaulting. Balu has never been injured or ill. In 2023, he underwent a thorough clinical health check-up with excellent results. Of course, Balu is also farrier- and loading-friendly and generally very easy to handle.
