Andvari is a stunning 6-year-old gelding seeking a new home. He was backed last year and has been in professional training for the past two months. He has four distinct, well-defined gaits and already demonstrates a lively, rhythmic tölt with good cadence. The trot is smooth and consistent, while the canter is still developing but easily controlled on both reins within small circles. He is eager to work and very attentive to humans.
Andvari lives in a large herd of geldings and was raised in a smaller herd near our stable, where he has always been very well socialized. I believe he would also adapt well to a mixed herd. He is leggy and straight in conformation, always friendly when farrier work is performed. He comes from a German breeding program, is free from eczema, and in good health.
Due to his age, I do not currently recommend him as a beginner’s horse, but with further training and experience, he could become a reliable leisure partner, suitable even for motivated teenagers, thanks to his beautiful gait quality.
A viewing is possible at any time.
