Invictus is a 13-year-old gelding standing approximately 1.64 meters. We acquired him exactly two years ago, but with a heavy heart, we now need to find him a new home. We initially envisioned our time together, especially riding him in show jumping, to be a bit easier, but we have realized that we are not the right partners for Vicky. Since my daughter has recently started an apprenticeship and has significantly less time available, we want to find a home where his strengths and potential can be better showcased. Vicky is a horse with incredible jumping ability and a lot of go in cross-country. He loves to work and demonstrates excellent quality over jumps. His previous owner achieved success in show jumping up to class S. However, his temperament and strong forward drive have been challenging for my daughter to handle consistently in the arena. Therefore, we are looking for either an experienced and confident rider who can manage his energy and ambition and provide him with the security he needs, or a partner who does not intend to compete in higher-level jumping classes. My daughter has won L-level show jumping competitions with Vicky and has competed him up to L in dressage. In leisure riding, Vicky is a very well-behaved and uncomplicated horse. He enjoys both hacking alone and in groups and is a reliable partner. Small cross-country obstacles and water crossings are no problem for him. In daily work, including cavaletti exercises, pole work, small jumps, as well as lunging and hand work, he always behaves well and is easy to handle. He is an excellent school horse, teaching his rider a lot and bringing great joy. He is also suitable for children to ride. We can easily imagine Vicky as a leisure, family, or school horse. For show jumping, his future rider should have the appropriate experience to handle his potential and energy. A complete veterinary examination, including back X-rays from September 2024, is available (with minor findings, which at the time were acceptable and have caused no issues to date). We paid significantly more for him two years ago than the price we are offering now. However, it is very important to us that Vicky finds a wonderful new home, so the price is absolutely negotiable! We do not sell to dealers or for resale. Further information and videos are available upon request via phone call or WhatsApp at 015123031749.
