KATNR. 23 Sir Sly S

With a stylish, dark complexion and a great sense of tact, Sir Sly elevates the high-level auction. The eight-year-old gelding is in training for the upper levels of dressage and can perform these movements under his rider Dries van Dyck; at the same time, less experienced riders can also handle him with ease. Overall, he simply approaches the bit, remains light in the bridle, and is equally easy to ride on snaffle and double bridle. The current training progress is a understandable reason for Sir Sly's recent limited competition record; in his younger years, he regularly placed in advanced classes against strong competition. Overall, Sir Sly can be seen not only as a prime example of the current high-level auction concept, which fosters new ways of collaboration, but also as a reflection of his overall presence. Oliver Cordes purchased him as a four-year-old at an Oldenburg riding horse auction, trained him partly himself, before bringing him to Münsterland in Westphalia for further education at age seven, from where Sir Sly now enriches the Verden auction.
