Daisy is the queen of versatility! This seasoned, fun, AQHA-registered 10-year-old bay mare truly does it all. She is our most reliable trail partner in the barn—and she is SO fun and easy to grab and go. Haul her out to meet friends for an uncomplicated trail ride, head to Tuesday night obstacle practice, or spend the day checking fences around the ranch. Whatever you have in mind, Daisy is the kind of mare you'll always want to saddle. Standing a stout 15Hands, she will fit a variety of riders! Daisy is broke right with a soft mouth, crisp transitions, and an effortless lope departure. She'll happily cruise along on a draped rein, or soften into the bridle and drive from behind when ridden two-handed. She is gorgeous-headed, super expressive, seasoned, and structurally built to last a lifetime. Daisy has an outstanding work ethic and genuinely wants to please her rider. Ranch on her, trail ride her, check fences, move cattle—you name it. She could also transition seamlessly into a drill team, sorting, western dressage, ranch riding, or even a weekend all-breed show home. She's a naturally cute mover and is conformationally correct enough to clean up in a halter class as well. She rates beautifully off your seat, really hunts the "whoa," and guides around like she has a joystick. She'll pack a flag, pony a colt, or tackle just about any ranch task without hesitation. She'll confidently work cattle, sort, drag a log, work gates, and take you wherever you point her. Trail riding is where Daisy truly shines. She absolutely LOVES it—whether she's alone or in a group. She'll confidently cross logs, bridges, water, steep embankments, and rough terrain without batting an eye. We even hauled her downtown, where traffic passed on both sides, and she never missed a beat. At Sonic, she stood quietly while her rider accepted a crinkly paper bag full of burgers and fries from the carhop before calmly carrying them back to the trailer. She'll go bareback, walk over tarps, tolerate all of our goofy desensitizing games, and you can even shoot off her back. When I say she's versatile and quiet, I truly mean it. Personality-wise, Daisy has never met a stranger. She isn't shy or quirky on the ground—in fact, she's quite the opposite. She's friendly, confident, willing, and enjoys interacting with people. Under saddle and on the ground, she is brave, bold, reliable, safe, and seasoned. We honestly haven't found much of anything that bothers her. Daisy is a maiden mare (never bred), although she was cultured clean earlier this year when I considered using her as a backup recipient mare for my breeding program. She made numerous trips to the reproduction veterinarian for routine ultrasound checks, so hauling is second nature to her. She loads easily, ties quietly, bathes, stands patiently for mounting, is excellent in the stocks, and is well-behaved for the veterinarian and farrier. She has essentially been a two-owner horse her entire life—the breeder, then the same family who owned her from age two, before coming to us. She was originally started using the Clinton Anderson Fundamentals program, which explains why she's so well-desensitized and confident. I'd absolutely love to see Daisy partnered with another confident youth or amateur rider who will continue taking her on all sorts of adventures. She has been one of the easiest, most honest, and enjoyable mares we've had in our program. Daisy can be kept barefoot or shod and has excellent, hard black feet. She has no history of leg injuries and is currently turned out with a group of mares, where she is low in the pecking order. She has no stall vices and sells 100% sound with all veterinary work up to date for her new owner. She appreciates wearing a fly sheet during fly season, as she can be sensitive to fly bites. She has had recent vaccinations, a current Coggins, and her dental work was completed this spring. Her AQHA papers, signed transfer, and all paperwork are in hand. A bill of sale will be completed between buyer and seller at the conclusion of the sale. We are happy to assist in arranging shipping anywhere within the United States or internationally.
