Abe is a super fun horse – just the right size at 14.2 and thick made, he seems bigger than he is because he’s long legged and big bodied!!! He is only 6 years old and has his whole life in front of him. He has a great personality, extremely kind and willing and he loves to have a job. He is the same horse if you turn him out for a month, or if you ride them every day. He is content to go anywhere in a group if you ride out, he’ll ride next to a horse, behind all the horses, or he will lead the pack confidently! He rides on a big loose rein – and always has his ears up looking around, excited to go see the next thing there is to see. He hops right on the trailer and hauls quietly, and ties, saddles, bridles, and is great with his feet for the farrier. He is extremely honest and kind – our camera lady kinda panicked and bailed shooting because she was terrified… but check out the video where his loping bosal becomes untied -RIGHT ON the side of the highway!!! He just hung out and stopped while the rider reached up and re-tied it. He is a sweet, fun, kind horse. He has enough athletic ability and handle to go use on the ranch or would be great in the turn back pen – and he has been lightly started in the roping pen on both the head and the heel side. Abe just wears front shoes and his feet were just reset last week. His teeth were just done by our equine dentist two weeks ago, and he also had his sheath cleaned, his ears preemptively treated for ticks, and was dewormed at that time. He is in great shape, just a hair on the fat side, but is plenty fit enough to go right to work. He is an easy keeper and in good health. Abe è un cavallo molto divertente – della misura perfetta a 14,2 hh e robusto, sembra più grande di quello che è perché ha le gambe lunghe e un corpo grande!!! Ha solo 6 anni e ha davanti a sé tutta la vita. Ha una personalità fantastica, estremamente gentile e disponibile, e adora lavorare. È lo stesso cavallo sia se lo lasci in paddock per un mese, sia se lo usi ogni giorno. È contento di andare ovunque in gruppo quando uscite a cavallo: può stare accanto a un altro cavallo, dietro tutti gli altri, o può condurre il gruppo con sicurezza! Cavalca con la redingote larga e sciolta – e ha sempre le orecchie dritte, guardandosi intorno, entusiasta di scoprire cosa c’è da vedere. Salta facilmente sul trailer e viaggia tranquillo, si ferma, si sella, si briglia, ed è bravissimo con i piedi per il ferratore. È estremamente onesto e gentile – la nostra cameriera si è un po’ spaventata e ha smesso di girare il video perché era terrorizzata… ma guarda il video dove il suo bosal al galoppo si stacca – proprio sul bordo della strada!!! Lui si è semplicemente fermato e si è lasciato aspettare mentre il cavaliere lo raggiungeva e lo riattaccava. È un cavallo dolce, divertente e gentile. Ha abbastanza capacità atletica e maneggevolezza per lavorare in ranch o sarebbe perfetto nel paddock di ritorno – ed è stato leggermente avviato nel paddock di roping sia per il testa che per il tallone. Abe indossa solo ferri anteriori e i suoi zoccoli sono stati appena rifatti la settimana scorsa. I suoi denti sono stati curati dal nostro dentista equino due settimane fa, e gli sono stati anche puliti lo sheath, le orecchie trattate preventivamente contro le zecche, e ha ricevuto il dewormer in quell’occasione. È in ottima forma, solo un po’ sovrappeso, ma abbastanza in forma per andare subito al lavoro. È facile da gestire e in buona salute.
