JNP Dusty Cowboy (“Dusty”) is a stunning 7-year-old registered Quarter Horse gelding standing a solid 16 hands tall. Photos simply don’t do justice to his size, presence, and overall beauty—you have to see him in person to truly appreciate him.
Dusty’s temperament is just as impressive as his looks. He is exceptionally gentle, people-oriented, and truly enjoys attention. He’s the kind of horse that meets you at the gate and makes every visit to the barn something to look forward to.
He has been extensively trail ridden and is a steady, confidence-building partner. Dusty travels at a smooth, comfortable pace and is not spooky, making him a relaxing and enjoyable ride. He has been hauled to camping trips in the National Forest and handles new environments with ease. He confidently crosses all trail obstacles and has a solid one-hand neck rein.
In the arena, Dusty is equally reliable. He has been ridden extensively English and has helped teach many riders. He picks up both leads correctly, carries himself well, and has a smooth, easy trot.
He stands quietly in cross ties for grooming, shoeing, and bathing, and is a pleasure to handle on the ground.
