If you're looking for a big, stout, dependable trail partner, this handsome boy is the one. Twister is just 7yrs old and stands 16hh and is a stout build gelding. He’s been on the same farm since he was 6 months old. Twister is an absolute trail horse deluxe that will go anywhere you point him and I mean anywhere. It doesn’t matter how steep the hills/cliffs or how deep the water he will take care of his rider. Twister will confidently cross the creeks, bridges, climb hills and handle rough terrain like a champ. He will comfortably travel at the front, middle or back of the pack.
He's been around cattle and has been played with around the rope. He will neck rein, backs up nicely, and has a good smooth lope.
On the ground, he has excellent manners. He loads and unloads easily, stands quietly for the farrier and baths, and is patient for mounting and dismounting. He's easy to catch, gets along well with other horses, and enjoys being handled.
This sweet-natured gelding loves attention. He's the kind of horse that becomes part of the family while still being capable enough to tackle the toughest trails.
