Meet lander, a real-life black beauty that is drop-dead gorgeous and the perfect age being only 9-years old, standing 15.1hh and IS the ultimate dream horse. When it comes to eye appeal, shape, athleticism, brains, and personality..Lander will have it all plus some. You truly don’t come across horses like him often- he is incredibly gentle and the definition of class and capability. He will be that once in a lifetime horse that everyone goes on and on about wanting.
The way he carries himself with such pride in every stride he takes is truly breathtaking. He is super smooth which makes for easy traveling. He catches his leads perfectly and has a nice and easy jog, trot, and slow lope. Lander is soft in the bridle, neck reins like a pro, cues off leg pressure, and rides with such confidence- you can even ride him without a bridle just as good! This incredible gelding is so versatile, he has the ability to go down so many different avenues. He is no stranger to a hard days work on the ranch. He has been used to sort, gather, and doctor cattle on. We have also used him to check fences around our place- which he makes pretty easy being as he is quite the pro when it comes to crossing water, rocky ground, inclines, or being around noisy farm machinery. He has had maximum exposure while being with us- he has been around flighty cattle, barking dogs, goats, and even bison. Lander also hasn’t seen a trail he couldn’t conquer. He would also make someone a nice weekend trail horse if that’s your thing. He does excellent on over night camping trips. He rides out alone or in a group, and will happily lead the pack or follow along in the rear. He has truly been a favorite around the barn to just hop on and go and do whatever on. He is also youth suitable making it pretty easy to put just about anyone on him that can hold a set of reins.
I truly cannot describe how big this geldings heart is- he has the best personality and most willing attitude. He loves to just lean in and lay his head on your shoulder, begging for you to love on him. He wants to please you and be your absolute best buddy. Out in the pasture he is easy to catch, or you can keep him stalled- he is great with either. He is easy as can be to bathe. He loads in and out of a trailer like a superstar and is good for the farrier. This is such a solid and stylish gelding with a pure heart of gold that will be the same horse every single day- whether your trail riding him on the weekends, using him for long hard day-working jobs on the ranch, or covering some open country, Lander will be your most dependable man.
One of my favorite things about Lander is how level headed he stays no matter the situation, he never gets tore up and always seems to stay so cool, calm, and collected.
Most of all his riders safety is his top priority.
Lander is 100% sound and sane. He requires zero maintenance and is up-to-date on vaccines. He also has a very recent PPE (4-14-26)
