Haflingerstute „Shelly", 17 Jahre, ca. 150 cm Shelly ist eine super liebe, brave und lustige Haflingerstute mit viel Herz. Sie ist unkompliziert im Umgang und hat bisher als Schulpferd gearbeitet. Dabei hat sie sehr vielen Erwachsenen und Kindern vertrauensvoll das Reiten beigebracht. Leider hat Schelly in den letzten Jahren ein paar gesundheitliche Wehwechen entwickelt. • Cushing wurde diagnostiziert und medikamentös eingestellt • Hin und wieder fällt ihr bei bestimmten Wetterbedingungen das Atmen etwas schwer – wir unterstützen sie dann mit Inhalation • Orthopädisch keine Befunde, hier ist alles in Ordnung Reiterlich ist sie also nur noch bedingt einsetzbar. Für ihre Lunge ist regelmäßige Bewegung und erhöhte Ventilation wichtig und sie freut sich auch über Aufmerksamkeit und Bespaßung. Jedoch ist sportliche Arbeit nicht mehr möglich. Ausreiten und gelegentliche Dressur oder Stangenarbeit sind aber kein Problem. Uns ist wichtig, dass Shelly einen Platz findet, an dem sie ihren Lebensabend entspannt und liebevoll verbringen kann – Platz vor Preis. Aufgrund ihres ruhigen und freundlichen Gemüts, könnten wir sie uns auch gut als Therapiepferd vorstellen. Ein Verkauf an klassische Schulbetriebe oder Reitschulen ist aber definitiv ausgeschlossen. For her lungs, regular movement and increased ventilation are important, and she also enjoys attention and stimulation. However, intensive work is no longer possible. Going out on rides and occasional dressage or pole work are not a problem. It is very important to us that Shelly finds a place where she can spend her retirement peacefully and lovingly – place before price. Due to her calm and friendly nature, we could also imagine her as a therapy horse. A sale to traditional riding schools or riding establishments is definitely excluded. In passato, ha insegnato con fiducia a molti adulti e bambini a cavalcare. Purtroppo, negli ultimi anni, ha sviluppato alcuni problemi di salute. - È stata diagnosticata la sindrome di Cushing, attualmente trattata con farmaci - Di tanto in tanto, in determinate condizioni meteorologiche, le si affatica un po’ la respirazione – in questi casi la aiutiamo con l’inalazione - Esami ortopedici senza riscontrare problemi, tutto in ordine Dal punto di vista sportivo, è quindi utilizzabile solo in modo limitato. Per la sua salute respiratoria, è importante mantenere un’attività regolare e una buona ventilazione, e lei apprezza molto l’attenzione e le coccole. Tuttavia, non può più svolgere attività sportive intense. Passeggiate, uscite in campagna e occasionali sessioni di dressage o lavoro con i bastoni non sono un problema. Per noi è fondamentale che Shelly trovi un posto in cui possa trascorrere il suo meritato riposo in modo sereno e amorevole – priorità al benessere, non al prezzo. A causa del suo carattere tranquillo e amichevole, potremmo anche immaginarla come cavallo terapeutico. La vendita a istituzioni scolastiche o scuole di equitazione tradizionali è però assolutamente esclusa. Ze is makkelijk in de omgang en heeft tot nu toe als lespaard gefunctioneerd. Daarbij heeft ze heel veel volwassenen en kinderen vertrouwelijk leren rijden. Helaas heeft Shelly de afgelopen jaren enkele gezondheidsproblemen ontwikkeld. - Cushing is vastgesteld en onder medicatie gesteld - Af en toe heeft ze bij bepaalde weersomstandigheden wat moeite met ademhalen – wij ondersteunen haar dan met inhalatie - Orthopedisch zijn er geen afwijkingen, alles is in orde Wat rijden betreft, is ze dus slechts nog beperkt inzetbaar. Voor haar longen is regelmatige beweging en goede ventilatie belangrijk, en ze geniet ook van aandacht en vermaak. Sportieve arbeid is echter niet meer mogelijk. Uitritten en af en toe wat dressuur of cavaletti-work vormen geen probleem. Het is voor ons belangrijk dat Shelly een plek vindt waar ze haar laatste levensfase ontspannen en liefdevol kan doorbrengen – plaats gaat voor prijs. Vanwege haar rustige en vriendelijke aard kunnen wij haar ook goed voorstellen als therapiepaard. Een verkoop aan klassieke rijscholen of opleidingscentra is echter absoluut uitgesloten.
