Son of an Olympic medalist, brother to a 1.40m showjumper
The sire of Liago NW, Polish-bred Nevados S (Calvados Z x Romualdo), a 1.65m showjumper ridden by Gregory Wathelet, is a Polish Young Horse Champion in the 4- and 5-year-old categories, World Champion of 7-year-olds, European Team Champion, Olympic Team Bronze Medalist, Belgian Championships Bronze Medalist, and winner of the Nations Cup at the CSI5 show in Rome*.
Liago NW is a half-brother to Libretto (1.40m, Cathrine Tonna) and is closely related to many talented horses such as Abracadabra (1.60m, Dirk Hafemeister), Rainbow II (1.45m, Jan Chrzanowski), Clintino (1.40m, Zhiwen Daniel Zhao), and Toytown de Barbereau (IEV3*, Antoine Deletain de Vienne).
The dam’s sire, Livello (Limbus x Ahorn Z), placed 4th at the European Championships in Windsor 2009 with Cameron Hanley. He is the sire of the current Belgian Champion, FTS Killossery Konfusion (1.60m, Jos Verlooy), as well as Lapuccino 2 (1.60m, Michael G. Duffy) and BEC Lorenzo (1.65m, Catherine Tyree Flores).
