Trail Mix is a 9-year-old Grulla Quarter Horse gelding standing 15.3 hands tall. He is a seasoned ranch and trail horse with the kind of experience and willing demeanor that makes him a pleasure to own. One of Trail Mix’s best qualities is his reliability. You can let him sit for long periods of time and pull him out and he’ll ride off just like you rode him the day before. No need to constantly keep him tuned up—he is the same good-minded horse every time. He is an absolute pleasure around the barn. Trail Mix is quiet and well-mannered in his stall, gets along well with other horses in the pasture, and has excellent ground manners. He stands tied, stands to be bathed, and stands good for the farrier. On the trails, Trail Mix truly shines! He is seasoned, confident, and loves getting out and seeing the country. He will also ride great in the arena and is comfortable riding both English and Western. Under saddle, Trail Mix is smooth and willing at every gait. He has a good stop, a nice one-hand neck rein, and moves nicely off your leg. He side passes, works a gate, and is always willing to try what you ask of him. With his ranch and trail experience, along with his ability to ride both English and Western, Trail Mix is a versatile and dependable partner. Trail Mix is the kind of horse that is willing to try whatever you ask of him. He has a great foundation, a wonderful attitude, and the experience to take you down the trail, around the ranch, or into the arena. He has a current Coggins and vet check and is ready to find his forever home. Questions or interested in Trail Mix? Call Glory at 814-564-2117.
