Meet Lefty! He is a bay roan Brabant Cross Draft Horse standing at 16.2 hands and 1600lbs.
This handsome solid gelding rides nice and also is part of a team that drives. He has been used in every aspect of ranch and farm work. He does it all! From dragging calves to the fire in the branding pen to packing during long hunting trips. Along with his partner Poncho, they make an excellent team pulling a hay mower at harvest time, pulling groups of people on sleigh rides, and pulling wagons during parades. He is a treat to ride for just for a day ride on the mountain or roping in the arena. Using him to start colts has been a big help because of his large size and gentle nature. In the off-season, Lefty and Poncho pull a sleigh for the public at the prestigious Park City Resort. Lefty has a bundle of ribbons and belt buckles that he has won from numerous draft shows due to his beauty and talent. He is a breeze to shoe, bathe, catch, saddle, and trailer. He is a quiet all-around horse with a sweet disposition.
