🌟 Tommy 🌟
Handsome 4 year old welsh pony x gelding, 11.2h and growing.
Tommy has lived on our farm his entire life, and has been a joy to work with as he continues to mature. All of his training has been done by our family, and he has come along really nicely.
He has a funny comedian-style personality that is common to many equines his size and is always the star of the show. He is special to each of us and there will be a few tears when he leaves.
Tommy is started both in cart and under saddle and has solid basics in both. He has will pull whatever he is hitched to, including a sled!
In the cart, Tommy will walk, trot, and canter with crisp transitions. He loves adventure and going new places, and would do really well in any driving discipline.
Under saddle, Tommy does well with beginners on the leadline or lunge. If ridden by a slightly more experienced, confident, young rider, he has three solid gaits with good transitions, and will pop over small cross rails and logs. He absolutely loves trail riding, and will go alone or in a group.
He is polite on the ground and stands to be groomed, tacked, washed, etc. He was used lightly in our small lesson program last year and although he was a gentleman, he did not enjoy the variety of riders- he does best with his own family.
No vices or health issues, utd on coggins and basic vaccines.
