Spade is already well on his way, with a great neck rein handle and excellent ground manners, making him a joy to work with and handle.
Spade truly loves wide open spaces; his favorite pastime is loping around the field or arena. He’s a fantastic trail ride partner, never shying away from any terrain we put in front of him, whether it's hills, rivers, or rocky paths. He stays steady and sure-footed, making every outing enjoyable.
He is traffic and pet safe. We’ve taken him into town among bustling traffic, and he handled it all like a pro, showing no signs of spookiness or nervousness. Our Australian shepherd often accompanies us on trail rides, and Spade pays him no mind.
This horse can work all day without tiring, making him an ideal candidate for ranch work. He’s strong and capable, built like a great head horse, and likely to excel in anything you choose to pursue with him. He has done excellent with the rope dummy and is showing great promise in that area.
