He has been started heading and has ran about 100 live steers and shows great potential. He leaves the box flat and rates to his spot on the steer, is strong to the horn, and faces well. Apache is acting like a true seasoned head horse. He has also been hauled to a few local jackpots and done great! He has also heeled some steers in the arena as well. He not only is making a great head horse but also a phenomenal ranch horse. He has gathered cattle in some rough terrain and knows how to navigate his way through rocky country. This horse always knows where his feet are and never misplaces them. He has seen tons of wildlife deer, turkeys, elk and pigs. He is veteran in the branding pen and makes it super fun. We have doctored out in the pasture, and he is a team mate that makes your day job super easy. Apache is also a super trail partner who is unflappable. He will go out alone or in a group setting does not mind if he is the leader of the pack or bringing up the tail end. Apache is a pleasure to be around, and will be safe.
